Reflection

I was learning how to write a persuasive text.  Now I know I need to give examples and reasons for my opinion.

Time capsule

Telling the time to quarter past

I was learning to tell the time.  I have learnt that the big hand tells the minutes, and the short hand tells the hour.  I know that the minutes count in fives and the hour moves just move the hands.  It was hard because at first when we were learning to tell the time because it was confusing.

Features of non-fiction texts

I was learning to look for non-fiction text features.  Now I know that a diagram is a label and a picture.  It was easy to look through the book and I knew what was the things I needed to drag into the box.

Making equal shares

I am learning to make equal shares of division.  Now I know what equal shares are it was hard because we had to count the shares.

Using direct speech

I was learning to use direct speech.  You put one when someone  is talking at a beginning of a sentence and  at the end. It was easy to use speech marks because of people talking that makes it easy.

Making and justifying inferences

I am learning to make inferences I know I have to look for clues in the story  like what the characters say and do.  I use picture clues too. It was easy to find clues in the pictures and the words.

Writing a description

Reflection
I was learning to use adjectives, specific nouns and similes.  Now I know that adjectives are describing words, and a noun is a thing.  It was tricky to use adjectives because we had to think of lots of words.

I was learning to look for features of a non-fiction text.  Now is I know a Glossary it is topic words it was tricky because to understand the words because there were hard.

Understanding multiplication

I was learning to understand multiplication now I know that multiplication is you count 2 groups of  5.  It was easy to count in groups by skip counting.

I was learning to make predictions. And I know  predictions that you look at the picture and the title.  It was  tricky because of the book  because there was hard words.

I was learning to show 2 digit.  numbers in tens ones.  I know to split numbers in tens and ones. It was tricky because it was confusing between  the 2 digit numbers.

I was learning to blend sounds that are ch.  Gr dr it was tricky. Because it was confusing because it was tricky because of the sounds.
