   Reflection I was learning to solve  timetable  and multiplication  problems. I can identify how many is in the rows. I can use repeated  addition to solve how many is in the rows. I also know my 5 times table.

Refection in this activity i was learning to justify and find clues from the text. I need to work on reading my sentences more carefully. I have learnt to justify an inference by using information in the text.

Fantail Facts

Reflection it was hard to find the facts in the slide I did a fantail. It was challenging to find clues facts and what they eat.

Reflection in this activity I was learning to work out different values respect responsibility resilience. It was easy to sort the different values because I now them.

Reflection We are learning to inference and justify. The most challenging thing was finding and looking in the book for the maori words.

I was learning to inference and find clues from the text. I enjoyed doing this I hope I  can do it again. I could work on making better answers.

The Haunted house

Reflection I was learning to write an narrative with a introduction. It was tricky because to add more information to my writing. Next time I need to work on adding more similes and alliteration. I enjoyed it because it was a good narrative.

Reflection it was hard to know what is a hawk or what is a thrush. I have learnt that thrushes and hawks are birds that are different species of birds. It was easy to learn other types of insects or other carnivores and the sun and the rosebush.

Reflection it was hard to get the fraction in order. because i had to count The fractions together. I need to keep practicing.

Reflection We are learning read analogue clocks and writing the time in words and numbers.  It was challenging to understand and write the words. I need to keep practising.

Reflection I was learning how to use Flipgrid and make connections to the story.  I found it hard to do my flipgrid and doing it with a buddy. I learned from the book that birds are dying from plastic and fish in the ocean.

Reflection my buddy and I worked together and found out some clues we researched and found some more information form the book. We found it a little challenging to find the information from the book.

White tailed Spider - Find and Summarise Information

Reflection  I was learning to skim and scan  the information from the white-tailed spider. I found it hard to do my sentences for my 5 facts. Because it was hard to find the information from the white-tailed spider in the book also the opinion about my white-tailed spider it was easy to do my picture.

Reflection We were learning to identify and sort animals into different habitats. We discussed these as a class to begin with.

in this activity I was learning to do a explanation graphic plan.  It was easy to plan how do it because we looked at pictures.

 Reflection I am learning about habitats. It was easy to put them in order like water habitat also air habitat and land habitat because in the picture it shows that the animals live in the air or water or land habitats.

Reflection it was hard to do the bin sorting from landfill recycle and worm bin and compost.

Reflection I was learning to solve doubles facts. I found it easy.  I need to work on my subtraction.

Reflection In this activity I was learning to sort living and non-living things. I found this easy as we talked about defining living things as a class.

Reflection.
I was learning to use strategies to make my writing more interesting. I used a smilie and interesting adjectives. I next can try to use these in other writing.

Reflection

I went on a class trip to Te Tuhi to learn about Tapa Art. I made a picture about my family and culture by using symbols. I enjoyed our trip and doing the art.

Fruit Skimming And Scanning

Reflection I was learning to skim and scam from the book it was tricky to find the facts and the information. I need to keep working on this.

Room 14's Favourite Food

Reflection in this activity my task was to do a statistical enquiry with a buddy. I found this tricky because we enough lines in our graph to fit the numbers in. Next time I need to ask the teacher for help.

Bio poem

Reflection I was learning to write a Bio poem. I learnt how to write a poem about myself it was tricky to write the words and also tricky to do the picture. I needed lots help.

Welcome  to my Year 4 learning blog.  This year I am in Room 14 and my teacher is Mrs Prendergast  I enjoy playing soccer and maths.  This year I am looking forward to being the best class in Year 4 by listening and playing nicely on the playground.  I hope you will enjoy my blog and leave lots of feedback.
